Energy from Waste (EfW) comes in many forms, Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) or Landfill Gas (LFG).

This is the process of generating energy in the form of electricity and/or heat from the treatment of waste, or the processing of waste into a fuel source.

The two most common ways of achieving this are Incineration and Gasification but they both follow very similar processes.

The waste is processed to generate fuel for a boiler which produces steam for a steam turbine to turn a generator.

A large part of both the process is the cleaning and monitoring of the flue gases as well as the removal of the by products.

As part of the commissioning teams for many of these plants Denman have been involved in all stages of the process.  This has given us a great deal of knowledge and experience in resolving the day to day issues which arise from such complex projects.  From simple commissioning support teams to providing the full commissioning team we have the expertise to help you complete your project.
